You will need to fill in one membership application form per fuel type, so if you use both propane and fuel oil, or propane and kerosene, you will fill in two membership applications and pay two $10 membership fees.

Please read our Frequently Asked Questions. It will give details on membership applications and contacting our two suppliers. Members contract directly with the supplier and must meet their specifications (i.e. code compliant tank and furnace inspection) for delivery. New customers will be asked to agree to a credit check.

Membership is always on an annual basis and must be applied for every year during the summer. The pricing for the season is effective from the date the member signs the contract until May 31 of the following year.

Below are the prices for the 2021-2022 heating season:

We negotiated agreements with the following suppliers for the 2021-2022 heating season. Our supplier for fuel oil and kerosene was KoscoHeritage/Hop Energy. Our supplier for propane gas was Paraco Gas. Both distribute in Ulster, Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan, Greene and Columbia counties in NYS.

OIL: There are three options . (available on automatic delivery only.)

The variable price is based on the previous business day's NYMEX (NY Mercantile Exchange) settle price. To find today's price of fuel oil go to the CME Group's webpage for "NY Harbor ULSD Futures Settlements". You will see above the table on the left a drop down menu labeled “Trade date” with today’s date. Scroll on the arrow beside it to choose the previous business day’s date. The first line of the new table will be labeled next month (because this is a Futures price). On that first line look under "Settle". This is the base price, you need to add $0.55 to get Kosco's uncapped price for fuel oil delivered today. If you chose the capped price (capped at $2.999) you add $0.65 to the settlement price.

Additional offer to fuel oil customers new to KoscoHeritage/Hop Energy: First top-up delivery, if taken within thirty days of signing up, will be at a discounted price based on the market, but below the three prices offered above, or a $50 credit. The remaining estimated gallons delivered through May 31, 2022, will be at the customer’s chosen price.

KEROSENE: Variable price of 40 cents below KoscoHeritage/Hop Energy day of delivery retail price.

PROPANE: There are two fixed prices:

Available by automatic delivery only. There is no delivery charge or rental charge for tanks. There are no ECC or safety fees.
